Live in 7 days from access to your current site, or your first month is free.

  • From WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, or a custom-built site
  • Every old URL points to its new page
  • The new site goes live only after you approve it

01The definition

How do you migrate a website without losing SEO?

Google knows your site by its URLs. When you move to a new site and the URLs change, an old link leads to an error page, and rankings built over years can slip. A careful migration keeps the connection: every old URL points, with a permanent redirect, to its new page.

That's what a move to MOVA does. Your products, photos, pages, and content move, as far as your current site can export them, and every old URL is redirected to its new address. The URL of a product you no longer sell tells Google it's gone, instead of showing an error page.

Three terms, briefly

  • 301 redirect

The page moved for good. Anyone who opens the old URL lands on the new one, and Google learns the new address.

  • 410 Gone

The product isn't sold anymore. Google stops looking for it, instead of running into an error page.

  • Sitemap

A list of your pages for Google. Built from the live catalog, it stays up to date without anyone keeping the list by hand.

02The 7 days

7 days from access, and your site is live.

AI does the work fast. People check every change before it goes live. Here's the move, step by step:

  1. Before

    A short call

We get to know your store, and you get a fixed quote for the setup and the move. No commitment until then.

  2. Day 1

    Access and materials

We get access to your current site and all the materials from your store. The 7 days start here.

  3. Days 2 to 6

    We build and move

AI builds the site and the admin and moves your products, photos, and content, and we check each step. Your current site keeps selling.

  4. Day 7

You approve, and it goes live

Only after your OK does the new site go live, and every old URL points to its new page. Maya starts answering your customers.

Live in 7 days from access to your current site, or your first month is free. The 7 days start when we have access to your current site and all your materials. Time spent waiting for your approvals or materials doesn't count.

03The redirects

Every old URL finds its new home.

Every platform writes URLs its own way. Here's what the redirects look like, by the platform you're moving from:

  1. 1From WordPress and WooCommerceYour links can stay exactly as they are, so there's nothing to redirect.
  2. 2From Shopify and WixEvery old URL redirects to the matching page on the new site, so visitors and Google land on the right page.
  3. 3From a custom-built siteYour products, photos, and content come over as far as your current site can export them, and here too every old URL redirects to its new page.

How Hasod moved from Shopify.

Hasod, the online gift store in Israel where we built MOVA, made the move itself, before we offered it to anyone else.

  • 549

entries in Hasod's redirect map, each old URL from the previous store pointed to the new site

  • 9

products no longer sold that tell Google they're gone, instead of showing an error page

Counted in Hasod's redirect map, Oct 2026: 156 category entries, 332 product entries, and 61 page entries. Of the products, 108 point to the shop page and 9 answer 410.

04An old link

Someone clicks an old link. And lands in the new home.

Here's a redirect from the customer's side: a link Google has known for years, and the same product on the new site.

  • In Google, the old URL

Google still shows the URL from the old site. The customer clicks, as always.

  • On the new site, the same product

The server answers 301 before the page even loads, and the customer lands on the matching page. Google learns the new URL.

    Part of the move:

Behind the scenes, every URL is mapped one by one, and the URL of a product you no longer sell answers 410 instead of an error page. That's how it works at Hasod today, and how we build your move.

05What Google gets

What does the new site give Google?

A good move keeps what you had. A good site gives Google more than it had. This is how it's built at Hasod today:

  • Redirects come first

Old URLs are answered in the server's first line, before anything else runs: almost all redirect to their new page, and a product no longer sold answers 410.

  • A sitemap from the catalog

It's built from the live catalog, every product and category, so nobody keeps the list by hand. And if products or categories are missing, it isn't written.

  • Titles and descriptions for Google

The title and description Google shows for each product and category page are written in one place, in the admin, and reach the page itself.

  • A first screen that shows before the code loads

On the home page, on a phone, the banner and the menu arrive as ready HTML and appear before the site's app code loads.

These tools run at Hasod today. On the first call, before you commit, we decide together which of them fit your site.

07Who it's for

Who is a MOVA site migration for?

For a store that already sells online and wants a new site without starting over, or losing what Google already knows about it.

A good fit if:

  • You sell online, and you don't want to lose your Google rankings
  • You want a new site without rebuilding everything from scratch
  • You want your site, orders, and inventory in one admin

Not the right fit if:

  • You don't sell online yet: MOVA starts from an existing store
  • You want to stay on your current platform and only change the design
  • You want a site with no monthly plan: MOVA is a subscription, with the site, the admin, and upkeep

09More solutions

More ways MOVA helps your store.

Each page answers one question store owners ask. Here are the others:

10Questions

Questions, answered.

Will I lose my Google rankings when you move my site?

Every old URL points to its new page with a permanent redirect, so visitors and Google land on the right page, and we check each step of the move. From WordPress, your links can stay exactly as they are. Google says rankings may go up and down for a while during a site move, and that they settle down over time. The ranking itself is Google's call, so no one can promise you a position, and we won't either.

What exactly moves to the new site?

We move your products, photos, pages, and content, and point every old link to its new page. Customers and order history come along where your current platform can export them. We check what your current site can export on the first call, before you commit.

Does my current site keep working during the migration?

Yes. The new site is built at its own address, and the switch happens at the end, after you approve it. Until then, your current site keeps selling as usual.

How long does the migration take?

Live in 7 days from access to your current site, or your first month is free. The 7 days start when we have access to your current site and all your materials. Time spent waiting for your approvals or materials doesn't count.

Do I have to do anything technical?

No. You give us access to your current site and the materials, and you approve at the end. AI does the work fast. People check every change before it goes live.

Who can see my store's data?

We use your data only to run the service and never share it, except with the infrastructure, AI, and messaging providers that run it. Your store's data lives in its own database. It belongs to you.

What if it's not a fit?

No long-term contract. Cancel any month. The setup fee covers work already done, so it isn't refunded. If you leave, you get a full export of your store's data within 14 days.
