06Questions
Questions about Meta.
Does MOVA run my Facebook ads?
No. At Premium, Cleo plans posts for Facebook and Instagram, with copy for each network, and they wait on the content board for your OK. The ads themselves are run in Meta, and running paid ads isn't part of the subscription.
Why send the purchase from the server?
Because a shopper who pays and closes the browser before the thank-you page loads never fires the pixel in the browser, so Meta never sees that sale. From the server, the purchase goes out once the payment is confirmed, whatever happens in the browser.
What about TikTok?
At Hasod, a TikTok pixel in the browser measures purchases. There's no server connection and no campaign upload, so TikTok isn't on the list of integrations.
What about a tool that isn't listed here?
On the first call, we check whether your software allows a connection, through its API or a data export. The tools your store already uses are connected during setup. Connecting a new outside service after launch is quoted separately, and only with your OK in advance.
What happens to the data that crosses this connection?
This connection sends Meta your store's events, such as page views, product views, searches, add to cart, and checkout starts, plus the purchase. Like Meta's own pixel, they carry browser details, such as the IP address. Only the purchase carries the buyer's details, such as email and phone, and they're hashed before they're sent. What a connection sends goes only to the service your store chose. We use your data only to run the service and never share it, except with the infrastructure, AI, and messaging providers that run it. Your store's data lives in its own database.
